i. Evangelism - The keen perception
of the International Department of Evangelism will be to: 1. Train
ministers to become Evangelist. 2. An emphasis will be put on the
recruitment of young ministers to be the catalyst for them to relate
to the “youth population” the great “Pentecostal
Experience of Salvation.” 3. Our vision is to create an evangelistic
revival plan parallel to the spiritual revival that occurred at
Azusa Street. This revival, with great expectation of the Department,
will catapult thousands into: repentance, justification and sanctification.
4. The Evangelism Department shall provide a strategy for the Churches
of God in Christ to evangelize their families.
The Evangelism Department will be in a relentless
mode to constantly announce: “For what shall it profit a man
if he shall gain the whole world and lose his soul? Or what shall
a man give in exchange for his soul?” Mark 8:36 &
37
As
we implement this vision we go forward and upward giving praises and
honor to our God.

men to impact the world.
1. MISSION STATEMENT
The Department of Women was organized by our Founder Bishop Charles
Harrison Mason in 1911. It consists of boards, auxiliaries, units
and circles which provide teaching, training and ministry opportunities.
We foster spiritual, emotional, and intellectual growth by continually
creating, implementing and updating programs for all categories
of women, youth and children.
The
Department of Women is a supportive arm of the National Church.
We endeavor to maintain a focus aligned with the vision of the National
Church and will continue our commitment through visible participation
and monetary support.
The Department of Women will continue to honor
the established foundation of our predecessors. We remain committed
to the values, legacy and biblical principle of holiness as taught
in the Church of God in Christ.
The Department of Women will seek to model the
love of Jesus in all we do.

vii. Music Department - Choir –
“A chorus that sings as part of a religious ceremony; company
of people who are trained to sing together; a family of similar
musical instruments playing together.” The dictionary gives
us the definition of the natural attributes of a choir, but we must
look to the word of God for the spiritual definition of what God
had in mind for the aggregation named “Choir”
The definition as it stands in the natural allows
us to see that anyone can sing gospel music, when it is viewed as
a mere art form; anyone can perform well, when gospel music is treated
as a formula or an equation. However, the ministry of destroying
yokes, changing lives and outlooks can only be filled through the
anointing and the power of the Holy Ghost.
Our
goal is to create an atmosphere for the Spirit of God to have free
course. We understand however, that as the choir ministers, it literally
takes territory in the spirit, engaging in spiritual warfare. (Psalms
149, Ephesians 6:12)
i. Auxiliaries in Ministry - The
Auxiliaries in Ministry (AIM) Convention, the annual summer convention
of the Church of God In Christ, Inc., is geared toward spiritual
enrichment, training, education and fellowship. The goal of AIM
is effectiveness in ministry. This Convention is a family involvement
experience, brings together five auxiliaries of the Church: Music,
Youth, Missions, Evangelism and Sunday School, this collection of
experiences creates what we call the AIM Convention.
